The dedication to bringing the world of the clarinet to life for the listener in all its musical nuances is palpable in every carefully edited score. Every note has been written with precision and passion to capture and convey the subtle nuances of this marvellous instrument.
Added to this are the editions of the 'CLARINOVA' series, which Pfeffer publishes for Trio Musik Verlag in Munich. The focus of this series is on innovative arrangements and new compositions for clarinet, which offer stimulating material for both performance and teaching. The passion for exploring new clarinet repertoire is palpable in every issue of 'CLARINOVA'.
Nicolai Pfeffer draws his inspiration from his deep enthusiasm for the clarinet, which also drives him as an arranger and curator of literature for this instrument. His work includes the rediscovery and reinterpretation of forgotten works as well as the expansion of the concert repertoire through new arrangements and perspectives.

The new 'EDITION CLARINOVA' contains a series of publications focussing on music in which the clarinet family plays a prominent role. Editions of as yet unpublished works from the past (solo and concerto literature, chamber music) are included, as are contemporary compositions. Arrangements are given the same importance as original works. Teaching literature is also included.
The only decisive factor is the quality of the music and its relevance for practical use.
Nicolai Pfeffer is the initiator and sponsor of this series.
